Every young man seeks adventure!

In the mid-1800’s, St. John Bosco knew that the heart of every young man beats for greatness. He began a school for guys in the city of Turin, Italy. Hundreds gathered there to learn, pray, play, and grow as young men. Nearby in a small, country town, Dominic Savio asked his parents if he could join the brotherhood. Dominic knew God was calling, and Fr. Bosco and the Turin oratory would be the best place he could become the saint God made him to be.

Savio Program seeks to offer that same opportunity to grow in holiness in a joyful, supportive and faithfilled environment. We play and we pray, and we try to live the life that made St. Dominic Savio a Saint. If you are longing for more than this world offers, join us.

5 PILLARS OF SAVIO

PRAY - St. Dominic Savio priorities prayer! Each Savio meetings begins and ends in communion with each other and with Almight God!

FEAST - Emphasis on celebrating Feast Days, Solemnities and personal victories (for eg: No screen in the bedroom challenge).

BEFRIEND - St. Dominic Savio often says “Jesus and Mary” shall be my friend. Savio men strive to be a man of holiness and of character. You can only grow by having other people in your life who examplify christian character who can call you to greatness.

SACRIFICE - Discipline yields character, Christian discipline allows character to shine for the Glory of God! From time to time, we will practise Asceticism (a way to detach ourselves from worldy comfort, pleasures and distractions that keep our attention on God).

SERVICE - Each savio man is challenged to offer himself to serve his parish community and family! Either through altar serving, parish events and volunteer opportunities.
